Tapping Your Spiritual Resources
Hi! Welcome to the member video blog which is entitled “Enlisting Help from the Spiritual Realm.” I’ve designed this video to go with the public video blog, which was the third video in the “Mind Games” series called “Contentment is a Virtue.” In that video I talked about the role of desire, and how desire is a powerful tool we can use to access the spiritual energy field and bring it to bear in the physical realm. We manifest with desire.
Desire helps us know what we want, but we can sometimes be tempted problem solve on how we’re going to make it happen. Of course that’s a slide into the mental energy field. It’s all about collecting data, observing, analyzing and strategizing. You cannot manifest from the position of the mental energy field.
The Spiritual Yellow Pages!
The tool I’m going to offer you today is a way of bypassing the mental energy field, staying connected exclusively with your desire in the spiritual energy field. Basically you’re assigning your desire to an entity from the spiritual energy field. When I talk about the spiritual energy field I’m not referring to something which belongs to only me or you as individuals. Our spiritual energy field is the place of connection we have with all things spiritual. Since everything in existence has a spiritual piece of it, we are connected to All That Is – all wisdom, all resources, all entities that have ever been or ever will be. They are your allies, to be called upon when you need them.
You might choose a guardian angel, or you might choose a spirit entity or an animal totem that you think of, or you might even use friends or relatives that are no longer on the physical plane. For example, I’m thinking about getting a new house for my family. I was house-hunting, and getting frustrated, when I remember thinking, “OK, my grandfather was always awesome at finding real estate and getting good deals. I’m just going to ask my grandfather to find this house for me, and lead me to it when the time is right.” So now every time I think about getting a new house, when I start to slide into problem-solving I remember that my grandfather is on the case.
Being Loved by the Universe
This tool helps you build trust with the benevolence of the universe – which includes these angels, these spirits, these relatives, these friends. They they are all about the work of making this happen for you in the easiest, most effortless way possible. When we try to problem-solve we are actually pulling in the other direction, so this helps us release ourselves from the burden of figuring it out.
That is probably the biggest challenge when it comes to this tool. You might want to develop a ritual that feels really satisfying to you in asking for help. I had someone one time right a business letter, as though you’re soliciting help from somebody. Such as, “Dear Grandfather, Please find me a house. I really appreciate your help. Sincerely, Anna.” Then you might burn the letter as though you’re offering it to the heavens. Or you might do something a little more fun, like taking a bottle of bubbles and blow the bubbles, and as you do you’re lifting your request to the heavens. Or you could do something more traditional like prayer or journaling – whatever feels right for you.
Finding Success through Receiving Support
As best as you can release your desire and entrust it to flow to the universe and then receive it when it comes back. This is not only about asking for help, it’s about receiving support. So many times we think our success is based on how independent we can be – and how smart we can be, and how effectively we can problem solve. When really so much of our success is based on whether we will let others serve us. This tool offers a nice opportunity for us to move away from “earning our keep” into just being loved and honored and blessed for who we are.
I would love to hear how this tool works out for you. Let me know if you need any help with this tool, because all things work better when we’re with another person. If you want my help let me know and I’ll be sure to reach out. Talk to you later. Bye!
